Lying Knee Rolls

The Lying Knee Rolls exercise is aiming to improve the range of movement of your lower back along with providing a gentle stretch to the muscles in that area.

Start by lying on the floor on your back, with your knees bent. Then slowly roll both your legs in one direction as far as you are comfortable, and then returning to the start position.

Repeat this action for the other direction as well. You should feel a gentle stretch of the muscles in your lower back with this exercise.

Aim to complete the reps and sets as suggested in your rehab programme.

If you find this exercise helpful, there are a number of other lower back mobility exercises available on our channel.
