The Shoulder Pendulum exercise is a low intensity movement which aims to increase the mobility of your shoulder.
Bending over with the arm you are not working resting on a chair or table for support, simply move your intended arm in circles. Aim to gradually increase the size of the circle after each a repetitions if possible, and also change the direction you perform the movement. You can also perform a figure of 8 movements in both directions as well. You should feel the shoulder slowly becoming looser and the movement easier.
Aim to complete the reps and sets as suggested in your free rehabilitation programme from our website.
If you find this exercise helpful, there are a number of other shoulder mobility exercises on our channel.
