Knee Flexion

This exercise is called knee flexion and it helps to improve or maintain your knee range of movement.

Sitting on a chair or on the floor, simply bring your thigh towards your chest whilst bending your knee. When it is close enough, hold your shin with both hands and increase the pressure of flexion on the knee.

There shouldn't be any sharp spikes in pain with this exercise but you may find it a little discomforting. You may find if you have a warm up, by simply going for a short walk with what you can tolerate, may make this easier. You should also ease into the range and the amount of pressure you put on.
If you are struggling you may find the 'Heel Slides' exercise a little easier, there is a video for this exercise on our channel.
